Pioneer Road Services has entered into an exlusive agreement with the Queensland developer of DustBloc to manufacture and market this innovative dust suppression product across Australia. The emulsion- based product has the potential to save billions of litres of precious water. "DustBloc is mixed with water and sprayed on mine access roads to settle dust and allow the massive ore trucks to move swiftly and safely", explains Douglas Cousins. " We currently have a number of customers using DustBloc and there are evaluations underway at mining and related sites."

Not surprisingly, DustBloc featured prominently on the PRS stand at the Construction and Mining Expo held in Perth in April, along with our wide range of products and services. Douglas Cousins, Don Secomb, Peter Fleury and Jamie Hall staffed the stand for PRS supported by Frank Vos and Amy Corrie from Cooee Products, the developers of DustBloc. "The CME 2008 Expo was very successful for PRS with a large number of potential customers from the mining industry joining us on the stand," Douglas reports.
