At the awards dinner on Friday June 12, 2009, Cooee DustBloc won the Queensland EPA Innovation in Sustainable Technologies Award for 2009. The award was presented for the development of technology (systems, equipment and/or infrastructure) that delivers resource conservation and/or enable sustainability innovation in a business.
At a reception at the Australian Ambassador’s residence in Santiago Chile, Cooee Products was awarded the 2008 BHP Billiton Mining Technology Award by Diego Hernandez – President BHP Billiton Base Metals.
Pioneer Road Services has entered into an exclusive agreement with the Queensland developer of DustBloc to manufacture and market this innovative dust suppression product across Australia. The emulsion-based product has the potential to save millions of litres of precious water.
BHP Billiton has teamed up with Queensland research and development firm, Cooee Products in a bid to save
millions of litres of water daily.

significant impact on state-wide water usage figures.
